Be Serious, Do Your Research

I had only done some minor research on conceiving of and introducing Adoptive Personality to the public. Since I have taken writing seriously as a career, I have discovered I can never do enough research. There are so many aspects I have to consider as a self-publishing author. So I took advantage of my surroundings and visited all the local libraries available to me.

As a self-publishing unknown author, there are a multitude of things I have to take into consideration. This leaves me having to educate myself in all areas of being an author. I have gotten books that cover: writing your novel, getting an agent and/or publisher, self-publishing, advertising, web design, networking, social media, marketing, saving money, running a business, self-image, and selling yourself.

In the Author Resource articles, I will let you know the different books I have come across in my search to get noticed. I will provide information on each book, as well as, how I plan to use this new skill I have added to my repertoire.
